Newsflash: Meet the Penn State Student who is Probably Hotter Than You

Hmm, well, my confidence has been eaten, fully digested, and then expelled from that gluttonous mouth which consumed it’s already inadequate presence in me. I should totally read this article, now, so I can further hate myself!

Ridiculous sounding, right? Well, yep, that’s because it’s pretty ridiculous – almost revolting. Almost.

While I rarely see news stories that seek to neutrally inform an audience rather than boost their sales or views, I have never seen a news source just outright insult their audience to pull them in. I mean, I didn’t think I would. Because that has NO LOGICAL OUTCOME THAT ANY JOURNALIST WOULD WANT.

Aside from the mere ludicrous nature of this, I would just like to assert my opinion of those who actively portray their recognition of the mediocrity of appearance in some compared to others.

Listen, everyone is beautiful. I, myself, didn’t use to think so. But, I have realized that everything swirling through the minds of today’s monkeys contributes to an experience relative to themselves. (You can parallel this to the Theory of Relativity.)

Pain is relative to your experiences, and no matter how drastic the experiences are, the pain is still real.

Happiness is relative to your experiences. A candy bar to someone who is starving elicits happiness just as a successful test grade elicits happiness from a struggling college student. The happiness is real in both situations, but they are their own – two separate occurrences of a similar release of dopamine to the neural receptors of the brain.

Therefore, beauty is relative to he or she who is experiencing it. Everyone is beautiful. No matter how many times someone tells you that you are ugly or “not as hot as this babe who takes lots of half-naked pictures,” there will always be someone who believes, with their whole heart, that you are and always will be beautiful.

And no one can discredit their opinion. Whoever they are, whoever they may be.
